The movie Dabangg was directed by Abhinav Kashyap. Abhinav Kashyap started it all back in 2009. According to Arbaaz Khan(the producer of Dabangg movie), Abhinav Kashyap came to him with his script of Dabangg to offer him the role of Makkhanchand(Makkhi). Arbaaz Khan became very satisfied with the story. So, he wanted to play the role of Chulbul Pandey in the story but it was already decided by Abhinav Kashyap. He wanted to give the role to Irrfan Khan or Randeep Hooda. Yes, Can you imagine Irrfan Khan with the Dabangg sunglass on her back or Randeep Hooda laughing like Salman Khan does in Dabangg?

Arbaaz Khan's Proposal for Dabangg goest back to Abhinav Kashyap

After listening to Abhinav, Arbaaz Khan was satisfied with the story but not with the casting. He saw the potential in the story so Arbaaz offered him a choice. The choice was to give the lead role to Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey. Also, Arbaaz Khan agreed to produce the film. Abhinav just couldn't resist the offer, it was so perfect.
    The film Dabangg released on 10 September 2010, on the occasion of Eid. People became so satisfied with this Action-Comedy film and of course, because of Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey too. Dabangg couldn't have gone more perfect without Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey. Chulbul Pandey became so famous and the first Dabang movie which was made with a budget of 42 crore rupees collected 219 crore rupees worldwide.

Dabangg 2

After the huge success of Dabangg, Arbaaz Khan became sure about Dabangg 2. People made their demand so high that it has to be a sequel to Dabangg. But for some reason, Abhinav Kashyap refused to direct the movie. Maybe, he wasn't sure about himself but Arbaaz was. Arbaaz himself took the responsibility and agreed to direct the movie and he started the journey of making Dabangg 2 on 9 March 2012, and it never failed to make people crazy to want more.
   Now it is time for Dabangg 3, there is not much to talk about Dabangg 3. But the interesting fact is in this movie you will see Chulbul Pandey not as Robin Hood but as a young version of Robin Hood. Yes, this is going to be a prequel of Dabangg in the first movie.
